Tribal Leaders in Conversation: Collaboration Challenges and Opportunities Workshop
Join us and register for Tribal Leaders in Conversation: Collaboration Challenges and Opportunities, a WSN virtual workshop taking place on Thursday, January 29th, from 12:00–2:00 PM (PT).
This conversation will feature Tribal leaders Emily Burgueno (Iipay Nation of Santa Ysabel Tribal Citizen and Kumeyaay Diegueno Land Conservancy Chairwoman), Trina Cunningham (Maidu Water and Fire Cultural Practitioner), and Jazzmyn Gegere (Director of the Cultural Resource Preservation Department, Southern Sierra Miwuk Nation), who will share reflections on the realities, challenges, and opportunities of partnering with non-tribal leaders and organizations. The workshop will begin with an open, candid discussion among the three panelists, followed by small-group breakout discussions to reflect on key takeaways and how they apply to your work.
All are welcome, and we encourage you to share this invitation with colleagues and partners who may be interested.
The deadline to register is Monday, January 26th. Registration is required to receive the Zoom link.
We look forward to this important and timely conversation.
