Opportunities in chaos workshop
Register Now for Opportunities in Chaos: A WSN Virtual Workshop, October 2nd
Join us on Thursday, October 2nd, from 12-2 PM for a Watershed Solutions Network (WSN) Virtual Workshop, Opportunities in Chaos with Network Members Felicia Marcus (Former California State Water Resources Control Board Chair and Strategic Advisor and William C. Landreth Visiting Fellow at Stanford University’s Water in the West Program), Martha Guzman (Former Regional Administrator for EPA Region 9), and Rick Roberti (Rancher and President of the California Cattlemen's Association).
Much attention is focused on fractious national politics, accelerating impacts of climate change, and significantly reduced government capacity to support land and water stewardship. Join us in taking a moment to focus on the opportunities that this chaos offers to advance systems change. How do we identify and exploit opportunities to make progress in restoring the health of our watersheds, communities, and culture while attention is focused elsewhere? Our three distinguished guests will share their insights, and participants will brainstorm together.
All are welcome to attend. Please feel free to share the invitation. Be sure to register here by Monday, September 29th. Registration is required to receive the workshop Zoom link.
We are excited to collaboratively shift our attention, even if only for a moment. We hope to see you and your colleagues there!
